Terms of service
Last updated July 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of Team Up, a Shopify app for running group and team orders. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you are using Team Up on behalf of a business, you agree on its behalf.
The service
Team Up gives a store one shareable link that shoppers use to join a team order. The app collects each participant's picks into a roster and production sheet and helps the merchant turn them into an order. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Eligibility and accounts
You need an active Shopify store to use Team Up, and your use is also subject to Shopify's own terms. You are responsible for keeping your store and account secure and for everything done through them.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Team Up for anything unlawful or to sell prohibited goods.
- Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the app.
- Do not collect participant data through Team Up for any purpose other than fulfilling the order.
We may suspend access if the app is being misused in a way that harms shoppers, other stores, or the service.
Fees
Any fees for Team Up are shown in the app before you are charged and are billed through Shopify's billing system. If a plan changes, we will make the new pricing clear before it applies to you.
Your responsibilities as a merchant
You are responsible for the orders you run, for fulfilling them, and for your own store policies, including refunds and shipping. You are the controller of your shoppers' personal data; you must have the right to collect it and must handle it in line with applicable law and your own privacy policy. Team Up processes that data on your behalf as described in our privacy policy.
Intellectual property
Team Up, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you. The data you and your shoppers put into the app remains yours.
Third-party services
Team Up runs on Shopify and Cloudflare and depends on them to function. We are not responsible for outages or changes in those platforms, though we work to keep the app running smoothly.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Team Up. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the app in the three months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Team Up at any time by uninstalling it from your store. On uninstall we delete your data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
